Doom: The Dark Ages is set to launch this year, continuing the iconic series of adrenaline-fueled, brutal first-person shooters, more than five years after the franchise’s last major title. With a dark medieval aesthetic and the same dose of bloody chaos that made the series famous, the new game promises a visual and auditory feast for fans of the genre. Although excitement in the community has steadily grown with each teaser, Doom: The Dark Ages has also sparked some controversy due to its darker artistic style compared to the series’ more modern direction.
Bethesda is providing details about the content of each edition, platform availability, and both physical and digital options, so that every fan can choose the ideal way to step back into the Slayer’s shoes.
