Control Resonant is Remedy Entertainment‘s ambitious action-adventure RPG sequel to Control, unveiled at The Game Awards 2025, starring Dylan Faden in a reality-warping Manhattan under cosmic threat. Players wield evolving supernatural powers, shapeshifting weapons, and deep progression across expansive, branching zones blending combat, exploration, and choice-driven storytelling.
Dylan, deployed by the Federal Bureau of Control after years of captivity, battles paranatural forces spilling from the Oldest House while searching for his sister Jesse, in Remedy’s largest project yet with replayable missions and multiple playstyles. Creative director Mikael Kasurinen emphasizes its standalone accessibility, expanded scale, and “ambitious, slightly wild” design inspired by surreal tension, without requiring prior knowledge.
Control Resonant is coming in 2026 to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Mac via Steam and App Store.
