Paramount+ is going into February 2026 with the kind of lineup that makes your watchlist feel instantly outdated. The month started loud on February 1, when the service droped a huge wave of movies all at once, then keeps the pace up with new TV episodes, returning favorites and a season premiere that’s going to be hard to ignore.
On top of all that subscribers will also be able to watch live coverage of the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, adding a major event to an already packed calendar.
The big february 1
If you like the idea of opening Paramount+ on day one and having way too many options, February 1 was that moment. The platform has added a massive slate of films that covers just about every mood.
Crime classics and must-watch dramas
The headliner here is clearly The Godfather collection, with:
- The Godfather
- The Godfather Part II
- The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone

That alone is enough to carry a weekend. But the drop also includes titles like American Beauty, Heatwave, Frida, Amistad, Match Point, and Cinema Paradiso, giving drama fans plenty to work with.
Rom-com comfort viewing
February leans hard into feel-good rewatches too, especially for rom-com genre:
- Bridget Jones’s Diary
- Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason
- Bridget Jones’s Baby
- How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
- Runaway Bride
- Just Like Heaven
- She’s All That
- Save the Last Dance
This is the kind of lineup that’s perfect for background watching that slowly turns into “fine, I’ll rewatch the whole thing.”
Cult comedies and crowd-pleasers
If your taste runs a little chaotic, there are fun picks like:
- A Night at the Roxbury
- Superstar
- Team America: World Police
- Harlem Nights
- Here Comes the Boom
Family picks and nostalgia
There’s also a clear play for family viewing and nostalgia, especially with the Rugrats movies landing together:
- Rugrats Go Wild
- Rugrats in Paris: The Movie
- The Rugrats Movie
And if you want something with a slightly spooky edge, Cloverfield is in the mix too.
TV highlights across the month
Movies may dominate the opening weekend, but February’s TV slate is quietly strong, especially for people who follow weekly releases and mid-season returns.
Ongoing releases
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which debuted in January, continues its first season with new episodes throughout the month, so February is essentially the “settling in” phase where the show gets to build momentum.

UFC on Paramount+ in February 2026
Even without a numbered event this month, UFC still has a steady rhythm on Paramount+ thanks to Fight Night cards.
Here’s what’s scheduled:
- February 7: Bautista vs. Oliveira
- February 21: Strickland vs. Hernandez
- February 28: Moreno vs. Almabayev
Paramount+ is also leaning into the UFC library angle, with plenty of older fights available on demand. And later in the year the service is expected to stream new seasons of The Ultimate Fighter and Dana White’s Contender Series, giving fans more than just live events to follow.
Paramount+ Plans and Pricing
Paramount+ currently has two main subscription tiers and the difference is mostly about ads and feature access.
Paramount+ Essential
- $8.99 per month or $89.99 per year
Paramount+ Premium
- $13.99 per month or $139.99 per year
Premium removes ads and also includes CBS live access, Showtime, select 4K UHD streaming and offline downloads.
There’s no free trial offered directly through Paramount+ right now and deals are limited aside from a student discount. If you’re trying to spend less long-term, the annual plan usually makes more sense on paper. Another option is getting Paramount+ Essential through Walmart+, which may include a free trial for new subscribers.
I write for Need4Games, mostly keeping track of what’s coming next. I cover showcases and release updates, put together quick lists when you just want the highlights, and I’ll post Steam deal roundups when the sales get wild. I play a lot of games, so I tend to look at games through that lens. No overthinking, just: what it is, why it’s interesting, and if it’s actually worth your time. I also stream now and then on Twitch.
