Unfortunately, the Need4Games team got hold of some very important information about EVR Studio and their game that debuted its global trailer and marketing campaign at the expense of the Xbox Games Showcase 2025.
Just 1 month after this showcase, multiple people from EVR Studios were fired at bizarre times, saying that there were not enough funds.
At that time, around July 2025, the number of employees gradually decreased from 100+ to just 22, according to a tracking site in Korea.
A few months later, I noticed that the official EVR Studio website went down, and is now completely deleted, which is a very bad sign, considering that the field seems to be down, especially after all the chaos in 2025.
Personally, I asked various sources and people who had to do with the studio, and everyone was negative. One of the investors of EVR Studios told me that we should receive the game by the end of March 2026, if we don’t receive it, the investors will be very upset with the situation, then it will be their meeting.
Besides, on their official Youtube channel, they used to post dev diaries once in a while, even monthly, and since August, they have had absolutely no updates, the moderators and the CEO of EVR Studio (Idaho) refused to give us a concrete answer about the state of the game.
However, I would like to remain optimistic, maybe it’s just a small error and the game will get a revamp of the website or name, however, the layoffs that I received are always a very bad sign, especially since I met various people who worked at the studio even on LinkedIn who lost their jobs during the same period.
