Lately, I’ve been very interested in Netease as a publisher and what projects they have, especially after 24 Entertainment Lin’an revealed their first project, “Blood Message”.. which is also the first AAA singleplayer project published by Netease Games.
I’ve been browsing a lot and I managed to discover some details about a new project that “Highdive”, a studio under “Netease Games Thunderfire” in Montreal, is working on. On their main website it is mentioned that they are working on a new IP, but in the job listings I couldn’t find anything interesting about the project.
In the meantime, I found a user on LinkedIn who gave us some details about the project in his bio, I tend to mention that he is a Narrative Writer and I’ll keep the profile details hidden so as not to cause any problems.

– Above all, I’ve championed narrative quality at every stage, helping our titles achieve both critical and commercial success.

It also mentions that it is a AAA Console Project, which would mean that the game will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
At this point, we’re not sure when we should see the game or when it will come out, but it’s definitely a very big budget title with over 100 developers and will come out after the release of Blood Message, which would mean, next-gen, 2027 or later.
