If you’ve been paying attention you can already tell 2026 isn’t going to be a slow year. The list of games 2026 keeps growing, and every few weeks there’s another announcement that makes the lineup of upcoming games 2026 even harder to ignore. Some titles have been on our radar for years, others showed up out of nowhere — but together, they’re shaping up a seriously packed calendar.
There’s a lot riding on this year. The Nintendo Switch 2 finally gets a full year to build momentum, which usually means steady releases and a few surprises along the way. And of course, there’s Grand Theft Auto VI — a game that doesn’t really need an introduction at this point. Whether it dominates the year or simply shares the spotlight, it’s impossible to talk about 2026 without mentioning it.
