4A Games and Deep Silver have finally confirmed that they are making Metro 2039 which’s the next chapter in the Metro series. Fans of the series have been waiting for this game for a time.
The Metro series has been around for a lot of years and people have been talking about what the next game would be like.
After Metro Exodus, which took players on a journey across Russia the Ukrainian studio is now going back to what made the series great in the first place.
This is news for the Metro series, which has a lot of loyal fans. People who played Metro 2033 will be happy to hear that the game is going back to the Metro tunnels in Moscow 25 years after a nuclear disaster.
Moscow Metro: Survival Horror Returns Home
Metro 2039 is exciting because it takes players back to the Metro system in Moscow. The game is going back to its roots. Will focus on survival horror and making the player feel like they are really there.
The game takes place 25 years after a disaster.
You play as The Stranger, who’s the main character in the game. You will start on the surface of Moscow which’s not safe and then make your way underground to fight against a group of bad people.

Dmitry Glukhovsky, the man who wrote the book Metro 2033 that started the whole series is working on Metro 2039 to make sure it stays true to the book. He is making sure the story is real the choices are hard and the atmosphere is scary like the other Metro games.
The game is using the 4A Engine made by 4A Games, which’s a lot better than it was for Metro Exodus. It has lighting, reflections that look real and effects that make you feel like you are really there. It still feels like you are in a tight space just like the other Metro games.
