Logitech G325 LIGHTSPEED is one of the newest wireless headsets in Logitech’s G series, released in February 2026. Positioned as an affordable option at around $79.99 / €79.99 / £69.99, it promises a mix of convenience, comfort, and solid performance for both gaming and everyday use.
After spending time with it in different scenarios, from gaming sessions to music and Discord calls, I can say this headset is more interesting than it may look at first glance. It is not trying to be a premium flagship model, but it does a very good job where it matters most.

Main specifications and features
Logitech G325 LIGHTSPEED comes with 32 mm drivers and 24-bit audio over the LIGHTSPEED connection. The frequency response goes from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, which is standard on paper, but the actual listening experience feels more detailed than I expected for this price range. The 10-band EQ in Logitech G HUB also gives you enough room to fine-tune the sound to your liking.
Connectivity is one of the headset’s strongest points. LIGHTSPEED wireless through the USB-A dongle keeps latency extremely low, which makes a real difference in gaming. Bluetooth 5.2 is also available for mobile use, music, or calls, although latency is naturally higher there.
Compatibility is broad, covering PC, Mac, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and mobile devices. One thing to keep in mind is that Xbox support is limited to Bluetooth only, not through the LIGHTSPEED dongle.
The microphone is built into the earcups and uses dual beamforming with AI-powered noise reduction. That gives the headset a clean design and makes it easier to use every day, but it also comes with some trade-offs compared to a dedicated boom mic.

Setup on PC
What I appreciated immediately was how easy it is to use. You plug in the dongle, turn the headset on, and it just works. No complicated setup, no drivers to install manually, no unnecessary steps.
For me, that matters a lot. When I want to jump into a game quickly, I do not want to waste time adjusting settings before I even start playing. This is exactly the kind of plug and play experience I like in a wireless headset.
Comfort during long sessions
Comfort is one of the biggest strengths of the G325. The headset is very light, and the soft fabric earcups with dual-layer memory foam make it easy to wear for long periods without feeling irritated or overheated.
Compared to other headsets in the same price range, the breathable fabric makes a real difference. I usually find faux leather earcups much warmer and more uncomfortable during long sessions, so this is a clear advantage here.
Sound quality in gaming
The sound is detailed, clean, and more precise than I expected at this price point. Bass is present and well controlled, without overpowering the rest of the sound profile.
One thing that stood out to me was how much ambient detail I could hear in games. In one ARAM match in League of Legends, I ended up focusing on background sounds instead of the actual fight, and yes, I lost the round because of it. That was a funny reminder that this headset can pull you deep into the game world if you are not careful.

Discord and microphone experience
On Discord, setup is simple, but you still need to select the headset manually for both input and output. That small step is important if you want to avoid confusion with default PC devices.
The microphone is good enough for casual conversations and gaming, but it is not perfect in noisy environments. It can pick up more outside sound than I would like, especially without any extra adjustments.
At the same time, I really like the fact that the mic is built in. There is no boom arm in front of your face and no cable hanging awkwardly near your mouth, which makes the headset feel cleaner and more comfortable for everyday use.
If you activate noise suppression in Discord or Logitech G HUB, the result improves noticeably, although it still does not fully replace a dedicated microphone.
Music and sound isolation
Music is where the headset became even more impressive to me. The passive isolation is strong enough to completely disconnect you from what is happening around you.
At one point, I was so absorbed in what I was listening to that I did not hear anything around me until my daughter came up to me and startled me by touching me. That pretty much sums up the level of immersion this headset can deliver.
This is both a strength and a limitation. It is fantastic if you want to relax and fully get into your music or your game, but it may not be ideal if you need to stay aware of your surroundings.
Battery life and charging

Battery life is another area where the G325 performs well. Logitech says it can deliver more than 24 hours of use, and in practice that feels believable at moderate volume.
A full charge takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, and quick charging gives you several hours of use after only about 15 minutes. That makes it easy to keep using the headset without long interruptions.
There is also an 80 percent charging limit option for battery longevity, which is useful if you want to preserve long-term battery health. The only downside is that you need to activate it manually in G HUB.
Pros and cons
What I liked most about the Logitech G325 LIGHTSPEED is the balance it offers. It is light, comfortable, easy to use, and surprisingly detailed in sound. It also works well across multiple platforms and has excellent battery life.
The weak points are just as clear. The built-in microphone is convenient but not ideal in louder environments, the low-end could go a bit deeper, and the headset is not foldable, which limits portability. Xbox users will also need to rely on Bluetooth rather than the dongle.
Final verdict
Logitech G325 LIGHTSPEED is a headset that delivers more than I expected in its price range. It is not trying to compete with premium wireless models, but it gets the important things right: comfort, sound quality, simplicity, and battery life.
From my experience, the biggest strength of this headset is not one single feature, but the way everything works together. It is easy to recommend if you want a wireless headset that feels light, sounds good, and fits naturally into both gaming and everyday use.
Final score: 8.5/10
I’m passionate about books and video games. These two great passions represent, for me, a boundless universe where I can “escape” from reality whenever I need or want to. There are so many stories, worlds, and landscapes where I can instantly teleport that I don’t think a whole lifetime would be enough to explore them all (though it would be my greatest dream to be able to).
