Phantom Blade Zero is an action RPG with wuxia and Soulsborne influences, developed by Chinese studio S-GAME. It is scheduled to appear on PlayStation 5 and PC, with the release announced for September 9, 2026.
It has quickly become one of the most anticipated action games of all time, being a game that wants to revolutionize this genre.
S-Game are also quite well-known developers in China, with over 7 games released over the years, as well as making the Phantom Blade series quite popular, with titles such as Phantom Blade 1, 2, 3 and Executioners.
Recently, S-Game had an interview with a “Xinhua News Agency”, and fans in China saw a very hidden detail in the footage they showed.
In short, the text in the footage says: “Long-running video in June”, in the upper right corner of the image that I posted below.
Although I was unable to translate or see the message given in the picture, many users on Tieba Baidu saw the same thing.
However, it seems very credible, considering that S-Game is no stranger to Geoff Keighley and his events, especially since “Summer Game Fest” will take place on June 5th, Romanian time and June 6th, Chinese time.
Chances are very high that this title will receive a trailer for pre-order, as well as the reveal of the editions, maybe even a collector’s edition.
Besides that, some people are telling about a playtest that will take place this month, domestically, that means in China, we know that it will be an offline event, but without official confirmation from S-game themselves, we can only hope for new info about the editions.
