The TGA 2025 trailer officially confirms that Leon S. Kennedy is in Resident Evil Requiem as a fully playable second protagonist, alongside previously revealed FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft. Leon’s campaign is described as more action‑focused, while Grace’s retains the slower, survival‑horror tone, with the two storylines running in parallel and intersecting.
Capcom did not change the already‑known release date or platforms: Resident Evil Requiem remains scheduled for 27 February 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2.
Rumors of a possible third playable character (Rosemary Winters) were mentioned in leaks, but Capcom still has not confirmed this on stage or in official materials.
