Amazon Prime Video is bringing Fallout back for season 2, but this time the release strategy looks nothing like the first season. Instead of the classic “here’s everything, enjoy your binge” approach, Amazon is slowing things down. Way down.
It feels like they want people to actually sit with each episode, to talk about it, argue about it, maybe even fight on Reddit a little and honestly, that fits this universe much better.
A Different Kind of Rollout
Season 1 arrived in one big dump, the sort of release that guarantees at least one night of terrible sleep for anyone who can’t stop after “just one more episode.” For Season 2, Amazon is switching gears and going weekly.
The second season is releasing with first episode from December 17, 2025, all the way to February 4 2026. Basically, Fallout is planning to move in for the holidays and stay until everyone’s back at work.
UK & US Release Times
Episodes will available morning across Europe. On UK times, you’ll see new episodes morning at 08:00 AM GMT on every Wednesday. Meanwhile, fans in the US have it even earlier, about 03:00 AM EST, which means you either catch it before sunrise or wait until you’re awake enough to process anything besides coffee.

Back to New Vegas
One of the biggest reasons people are hyped is the return to New Vegas, a location that any Fallout fan can recognize in half a second. Season 1 gave us the setup; Season 2 seems ready to dig deeper into factions, old conflicts and whatever secrets The Ghoul has been hiding behind that charming nightmare of a smile.
The weekly format should make this even more fun. Instead of sprinting through everything in a single weekend, viewers will actually have time to debate what they’ve seen, spot references, and share theories, all the things that made the first season blow up online.
Winter in the Wasteland
Dropping the season right in the middle of winter isn’t random. December through February is when people slow down, settle in and stream far more than usual. So Amazon placing Fallout right there isn’t just smart, it almost guarantees the show will dominate conversations for weeks.
If you needed an excuse to take your mornings a bit slower during the cold months, Fallout Season 2 just handed you one.
